Senior Azure Dev Ops Engineer
6 month initial contract
£650 per day
Inside IR35

We are looking for a Senior Azure Dev Ops Engineer to help design and build modern Dev Ops capability in a greenfield Azure environment. You will lead on CI/CD, infrastructure automation, cloud governance and secure deployment practices.
What you'll do- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub.
- Build and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform.
- Automate configuration and deployments with Ansible.
- Define Dev Ops standards, branching strategies and release processes.
- Embed security, compliance and quality checks into delivery pipelines.
- Work closely with infrastructure, development, security and architecture teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Dev Ops, Bicep, Terraform and Fabric (nice to have)
- Proven experience building enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
- Good knowledge of Azure services, including AKS, App Services, Key Vault, Monitor, Storage and Virtual Networks.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Git Ops and secure Dev Ops practices.
- Scripting skills in Power Shell, Bash or Python.
- Kubernetes and Docker experience.
- Azure Landing Zone or multi-cloud experience.
- Security tooling such as Sonar Qube, Snyk, Checkov or Trivy.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305 or AZ-400.
