The Specialist: IT Learning & Development designs, develops, and delivers technology learning solutions that support effective adoption and day-to-day use of firm technologies across the region.
This role combines training delivery and instructional design to ensure users are equipped with the knowledge and resources needed to work efficiently and effectively.
ResponsibilitiesAccountabilities:
- Deliver Technology Learning & Adoption services aligned with global standards and regional business needs.
- Design and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and digital training to support technology adoption and user effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain learning materials, courseware, and user-facing documentation.
- Support regional technology initiatives through training, learning content, and user enablement.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of learning programs based on feedback, usage, and observed user needs.
Responsibilities
Learning & Adoption Delivery
- Provide one-on-one training and targeted support to reinforce learning and improve user proficiency.
- Facilitate onboarding and ongoing training programs to support consistent technology usage.
Deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions for lawyers and business professionals.
Learning Design & Content Development
- Design practical learning solutions to support user adoption, including:
- Instructor-led training materials
- Quick reference guides and job aids
- Video and digital learning content
- Develop courseware and user documentation aligned to business needs.
- Ensure all training materials are current, accurate, and aligned with firm technologies.
Adoption & User Enablement
- Support users in effectively adopting and integrating technology into their daily workflows.
- Identify common challenges and recommend solutions.
- Reinforce best practices and promote efficient, consistent use of firm systems.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with Technology teams and the business to identify learning needs.
- Provide practical feedback on training approaches and delivery methods.
- Maintain strong working relationships with users across the region.
Project Support
- Participate in regional technology projects by:
- Developing training materials aligned to project timelines
- Delivering training as part of rollout activities
Operational Support & Continuous Improvement
- Facilitate training registrations and completion administration in the learning management system (LMS).
- Respond to training-related requests through established support channels.
- Monitor training participation and feedback.
- Maintain awareness of changes to firm technologies and update learning materials accordingly
