Job Title: Senior AV Support & Event Technician
Location: Dusseldorf, Germany
Role OverviewproAV are a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.
Our immediate requirement is for an experienced Senior AV Support & Event Technician to be a key part of our Dusseldorf team, representing proAV and working onsite.
One of many openings available at proAV (who have over 500 team members globally), this position is based within our end user’s organisation who continue to invest in state-of-the-art technologies, services, and training.
This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced Senior AV Support & Event Technician to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.
Experience and seniority of the position will be reflected by the remuneration and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:- Report into Client stakeholder on a day-to-day basis.
- Liaise with Client IT / FM teams to agree and prioritise daily tasks and activities.
- Provide real time in room support for AV / UC related issues.
- Locate faults or problems and provide solutions on a first /second line basis as well as work around, if problem is critical.
- Troubleshoot AV and MTR related technology issues.
- Ensure fault tickets are logged via Client ITSM and resolved within SLA.
- Management and tracking of all AV related fault tickets & requests raised via Client ITSM through to resolution.
- Track and manage all Event requests & AV mailbox.
- Daily room / systems check as required.
- Manage equipment repairs and implement critical spares as required.
- Support / manage software / firmware updates once instructed / change control.
- Provide “White Glove” service as required to assist Partners, Senior Execs and all VIP meetings.
- Generate daily reports and contact VIP clients to establish full nature of meeting & requirements equipment / meeting room set ups as required.
- Provide support on an individual basis to users at all levels of seniority on audio visual equipment, connectivity and applications where appropriate.
- Direct & manage all onsite events within divisible spaces.
- Conduct planning meetings with client event organisers to ensure the correct technology is being used, leading to successful meetings/events.
- Work with vendors for AV rental and staging of events as required.
- Work with Engineering to ensure the M&E and fabric of meeting rooms is maintained.
- Be fully competent in Digital AV environments.
- IT literate, understand network architecture and structured cable infrastructures.
- Adhere to Client room standards.
- Develop on site AV support processes and standard operating procedures in conjunction with Client teams.
- Manage proAV onsite support deliverables (where applicable).
- Proactively train and support end users ongoing as required.
- Manage critical spares.
- Attend Operational meetings as required.
