Senior Planning Analyst
Deliver data analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making processes.
Maintain and improve data quality standards and reporting accuracy.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify information needs and provide tailored analytics solutions.
Prepare and present comprehensive reports and dashboards for senior management.
Support the development and implementation of data-driven planning tools and methodologies.
Monitor trends and provide insights into key performance indicators.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational data governance policies.
Assist in forecasting and scenario planning to guide resource allocation.
Profile
Senior Planning Analyst
A successful Senior Planning Analyst should have:
Experience working in or with the higher education sector.
Work with data relating to:
HESA
HESES
OFS returns
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting.
Proficiency in using data visualisation tools and software.
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
Ensure confidence in the University's statutory reporting processes.
Assist in reviewing coding structures, classifications and data quality practices.
Support continuous improvement across assurance and governance activities.
Knowledge of data governance practices and compliance requirements.
Strong communication skills to present findings effectively to various stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
Job Offer
Senior Planning Analyst
Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
