As a Neighbourhood Services Operative in London, you'll help maintain properties and communal areas, ensuring everything runs smoothly for residents. This role is hands-on and essential to keeping the neighbourhood clean and safe for the community.

This Social Housing organisation is based in London and operates within the south London region.

Description

Maintain and clean communal areas, ensuring they are safe and tidy.
Carry out minor repairs and report maintenance issues promptly.
Assist with waste management, including the collection and disposal of rubbish.
Conduct regular inspections of properties and communal spaces.
Provide support to residents by addressing concerns or escalating issues as needed.
Work closely with other teams to ensure smooth operations in the neighbourhood.
Help with the upkeep of outdoor spaces, including gardens and pathways.
Follow health and safety regulations during all tasks.

Profile

A successful Neighbourhood Services Operative should have:

Basic knowledge of property maintenance and repairs.

Experience of undertaking bulk, general waste and void property clearance duties.
Experience in cleaning, waste management or similar roles.
Valid UK driving licence with category C1 and ability to drive company vehicles as and when required.
Sufficiently numerate to manage stock control, check invoices and purchase supplies or equipment
Strong communication skills for interacting with residents and colleagues.

Job Offer

Hourly pay ranging from £11.00 to £13.00, dependent on the level of experience.
