Equifax is seeking a driven and insightful Senior Analyst to join our dynamic Data and Analytics (D&A) division. This is a pivotal role where you will directly contribute to our success by supporting a wide range of analytical projects, engaging with key external clients, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive revenue deliverables for Equifax UK.

As a Senior Analyst, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-impact analytical support and project analysis to our external clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Client-Focused Analytics:
  Addressing client queries related to CRA (Credit Reference Agency) data characteristics and scores, providing expert insights and solutions.
• Project Delivery:
  Playing a key role in diverse analytical projects, including credit strategy development, model development, and bespoke analytics tailored to solve specific client problems.
• Data-Driven Problem Solving:
  Performing in-depth analysis of multiple data sources, utilising statistical analysis and computer science techniques to address complex business issues.
• Insight Communication:
  Translating analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations that enable clients to make improved business decisions and enhance profitability.
• Technical Expertise:
  Employing data mining tools and programming languages (Python & SQL) to prepare and analyse data for critical business decision-making.
• Solution Development:
  Collaborating to design and deliver robust analytical and commercial solutions for both internal and external clients, aligning business requirements with data knowledge and existing processes.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong analytical aptitude and a proactive approach:

• A relevant numerical degree, achieving a 2:1 or higher.
• Proven experience in programming languages such as Python and SQL, ideally applied within a credit risk environment.
• An innovative mindset, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage with team members, clients, and business leaders at various levels.

While not essential, the following experience would be highly advantageous:

• Demonstrable experience in formulating credit policies and contributing to scorecard development.
• Previous experience working directly with credit bureau data.
