Infrastructure EngineerA growing Insurer are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of a cloud-focused infrastructure estate, working primarily across Microsoft Azure, Entra Microsoft 365.
Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Engineer:- Managing the deployment and ongoing operation of cloud infrastructure
- Designing, developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Improving infrastructure monitoring and alerting
- Managing and improving Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Strengthening vulnerability management and reducing remediation times
- Providing technical support and guidance across infrastructure-related issues
- Working with third-party cloud providers to improve service and support
- Keeping up to date with cloud and infrastructure technologies and best practices
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure, Entra Windows Server
- Enterprise experience designing scalable IAM solutions, including RBAC and access recertification
- Experience across Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Intune and SharePoint Online
- Scripting experience, ideally Power Shell
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of technical problems
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Insurance or Lloyd’s market experience
- Identity Governance platforms such as SailPoint or Saviynt
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code within an enterprise environment
- Tenant integration/federation as part of mergers or acquisitions
- Basic MSSQL troubleshooting and SQL queries
- Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
Rate: £550 - £600 P/D Outside IR35 - Flexible
Location:
London/WFH hybrid - 3 days per week in London office
Contract Duration: 6 months
