Your role What you'll be doing

Dev Ops Engineer

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Dev Ops Engineer within our Cross-Border division. This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business and is located in London, United Kingdom.

Role Function and Purpose

Based in our London office, you will extend Dev Ops coverage during London working hours and work closely with colleagues in North America. You will help administer Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Octopus Deploy, and improve the Jenkins and Octopus pipelines that build and release our applications. The role supports .NET, Node.js, and legacy VB6 builds in Windows-based environments. You will write Groovy for Jenkins pipelines and Power Shell for Windows and deployment automation.

Planned releases may occasionally require work outside normal London hours, based on business need, with clear coordination and handover across regions.

How We Work

As a Dev Ops Engineer, Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

- Assigned workspace in our London office

- Company-issued equipment

- Formal, hands-on training

Role Responsibilities
  • Help administer Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Octopus Deploy, including configuration, access, build agents, and platform reliability.
  • Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines in Groovy for .NET, Node.js, and legacy VB6 builds, with repeatable outputs and clear failure diagnostics.
  • Build and maintain Octopus Deploy processes for consistent application releases across development, test, and production environments.
  • Write Power Shell scripts to configure Windows build and deployment environments, reduce manual steps, and troubleshoot failures.
  • Connect Bitbucket source‑control workflows with Jenkins builds and Octopus deployments, coordinating changes with development teams.
  • Manage deployment configuration, credentials, approvals, and release records with appropriate security and traceability.
  • Diagnose build, deployment, and environment issues during London working hours and provide clear handovers to North American colleagues.
  • Support planned releases outside normal hours when needed, including deployment checks, recovery or rollback, and follow‑up.
  • Work with development, QA, infrastructure, and security teams to improve pipeline reliability and release practices.
  • Maintain practical documentation for pipelines, deployment processes, operational support, and audit evidence.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, build engineering, or release engineering with production CI/CD systems.
  • Hands‑on experience developing Jenkins pipelines in Groovy and supporting Jenkins configuration, agents, and credentials.
  • Experience with Bitbucket administration and Git‑based source‑control workflows.
  • Experience building and maintaining deployment processes in Octopus Deploy.
  • Strong Power Shell scripting skills for Windows automation, build agents, and application deployments.
  • Experience building .NET and Node.js applications, and the ability to maintain existing VB6 build workflows; VB6 application development is not required.
  • Working knowledge of Windows environments, deployment troubleshooting, environment configuration, and reliable rollback practices.
  • Understanding of access control, secrets handling, release traceability, and operational documentation.
  • Clear communication and dependable handovers when collaborating across London and North American teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools or financial‑services technology is helpful.
Benefits & Perks
  • 4x Life Insurance
  • Pension Scheme – 5% employer contribution
  • Private Healthcare
  • 25 days annual leave, with Holiday Buy/Sell options
