Senior Cloud & Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Location: London onsite

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join a technology team working across a hybrid Microsoft Azure and on-premise infrastructure environment.
This is a hands‑on contract role with a strong project focus, including the migration of VMware workloads into Azure and Hyper‑V, developing infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform and Git Hub Actions
, and strengthening the wider Microsoft cloud, networking and security estate.
- Support the migration of VMware workloads to Azure IaaS and Hyper‑V
- Design and manage Azure networking including VNets, peering, NSGs, firewalls and hybrid connectivity
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules for Azure infrastructure
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions
- Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
- Support and administer Hyper‑V and VMware
- Manage Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, One Drive and Share Point
- Manage Entra , Conditional Access, MFA and PIM
- Support Intune, Purview, Varonis and Ave Point
- Troubleshoot Cisco networking across switches, VLANs, routing and wireless
- Maintain cloud security, governance, policies and infrastructure standards
- Strong hands‑on Microsoft Azure infrastructure experience
- Azure networking: VNets, peering, NSGs, firewalls and hybrid connectivity
- Strong Terraform / Infrastructure‑as‑Code experience
- VMware vSphere/vCenter and migration experience
- Hyper‑V administration and deployment
- Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
- Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online
- Entra , MFA, Conditional Access and PIM
- Microsoft Intune
- Cisco networking, VLANs, switches and troubleshooting
- Git Hub / Git Hub Actions / CI/CD
- Experience of cloud migration projects, ideally using Azure Migrate
- Microsoft Purview
- Varonis
- Ave Point
- Azure Landing Zones
- Power Shell / Azure CLI
- AZ-305, MS-102, SC-400, CCNA or CCNP certifications
