As Property Portfolio Underwriting Manager, you will lead the Mid-Market Commercial Property account, shaping underwriting strategy, portfolio mix, and pricing approaches to deliver sustainable performance.

You’ll play a pivotal role in setting underwriting direction, identifying areas for profitable expansion, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes for customers and brokers alike.

This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams — including Pricing, Chief Underwriting Office, Actuarial, Finance, Claims, Automation, and Data Science — as well as engagement with regional underwriting teams to enhance performance and capability across the portfolio.

• Lead the Mid-Market Property portfolio, ensuring delivery of financial and underwriting performance targets.
• Develop and execute underwriting strategies that balance growth and profitability.
• Provide technical expertise, coaching, and guidance to underwriters across the business.
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to shape commercial decisions and inform P&L outcomes.
• Drive innovation in underwriting quality, risk selection, and pricing to achieve best-in-class customer results.

• Proven experience in commercial property underwriting with strong technical and analytical capability.
• Demonstrated success in portfolio management and enabling growth through data-driven, strategic decision-making.
