An elite international law firm is seeking a Conflicts & AML Analyst to join its London office. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-performing global team, supporting the firm's business acceptance and risk management functions across multiple jurisdictions.

About the Role

Reporting to senior leadership in both global conflicts and UK compliance, the Conflicts & AML Analyst will play a key role in the review and clearance of conflicts of interest and AML checks related to new business intake, lateral hires, and marketing initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with lawyers, risk professionals, and business services teams across the firm's international offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct conflict searches and analysis for new clients, matters, and incoming legal personnel.
  • Assist with AML due diligence, including sanctions screening, PEP checks, and adverse media reviews.
  • Liaise with lawyers and internal stakeholders to resolve potential and actual conflicts.
  • Generate and maintain conflict reports, waivers, and engagement documentation.
  • Research corporate structures and affiliations using entity relationship tools.
  • Support the implementation of ethical walls and compliance protocols.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of business acceptance processes and systems.
Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree required; legal qualification a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in conflicts and AML analysis within a law firm or financial institution.
  • Familiarity with InTapp Open/Conflicts and Legal Key preferred.
  • Strong understanding of UK Money Laundering Regulations and professional conduct rules.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
