I am currently working in partnership with a well‑established and highly regarded law firm based in Central London that is looking to appoint a Private Client Partner as part of its continued growth strategy.

This is a key strategic hire for the firm. The existing private client team is strong and well‑supported, with a loyal client base and consistent workflow. The partners are now seeking an experienced senior lawyer who can both lead and expand the offering.

This role would suit:

• An existing Private Client Partner seeking a more collegiate and less corporate environment
• A Legal Director or Senior Associate ready to step up to partnership
• A practitioner with a modest following who wants the platform and infrastructure to grow it

You will take a leading role in advising on:

• Complex wills and estate planning
• Trust structures and administration
• Tax‑efficient succession planning Probate and high‑value estate administration
• LPAs and Court of Protection matters

There is significant scope to shape the department, mentor junior lawyers, and further develop relationships with local accountants, IFAs, and other referrers.

• Long‑standing reputation in Central London
• Strong private client base
• Supportive, commercially minded partnership
• Clear strategic growth plans

• 8+ years’ PQE in private client law
• Strong technical ability and commercial awareness
• Leadership capability or ambition
• A following is advantageous but not essential
• STEP qualification desirable
