Real Estate Disputes Lawyer (2–5 PQE) Salary: £85,000–£110,000 + bonus

Location:

London (City) — 3 days in the office

If you’re a Real Estate Disputes lawyer who enjoys genuinely varied property litigation, early responsibility, and high‑calibre work (without being left to sink or swim), this is a standout opportunity within a top‑tier London team. You’ll work on complex, high‑value disputes with excellent support, clear progression, and the chance to build your own profile in the market.

The Opportunity

You’ll join a high‑performing, collegiate Real Estate Disputes team advising a broad client base across the real estate sector. The work is interesting, technical, and often business‑critical, with plenty of scope to develop advocacy, strategy, and client‑handling skills.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Running your own caseload (with supervision) and supporting Partners/Senior Associates on larger matters
  • Advising on a broad range of landlord and tenant disputes, including:
    • Lease renewals (contested and uncontested)
    • Dilapidations claims
    • Break notices (service and disputes)
    • Forfeiture and possession actions
  • Working on complex and high‑profile disputes for a range of sophisticated clients
  • Getting involved in wider real estate disputes work, including building safety, rights of light, joint ventures, and emerging sector issues
  • Contributing to business development and strengthening relationships with new and existing clients
What Our Client Is Looking For (Key Requirements)
  • UK‑qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
  • 2–5 years’ PQE with strong Real Estate Disputes / Property Litigation experience gained in a reputable UK practice
  • Confidence managing multiple matters and deadlines with a calm, organised approach
  • Excellent drafting and technical capability across property litigation documentation (pleadings, correspondence, settlement documentation, advice notes)
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to communicate clearly with clients
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and genuine interest in building a long‑term career in this space
Working Arrangement & Location
  • London (City)
  • Hybrid working with an expectation of at least 3 days per week in the office
