This is an exciting opportunity to join our Aviation business, where your work will directly support critical defence operations. As a Logistics Operative, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the efficient flow of equipment, spares, and consumables, ensuring the right resources are available at the right time. Whether you're managing stock, supporting deliveries, or maintaining accurate inventory records, you'll make a meaningful contribution to operational success while developing valuable logistics and supply chain skills within a respected global organisation.

The

role

As a Logistics Operative, you'll be part of a collaborative stores and logistics team responsible for supporting the storage, distribution and control of equipment and materials. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, values teamwork and wants to build a rewarding career supporting defence and aviation operations. You'll gain experience in inventory management, stock control and logistics processes while contributing to work that helps create a safe and secure world.

Day-to-day, you'll be required to:

  • Maintain the safe storage, receipt, issue and control of equipment, spares, and consumables.
  • Use inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock and asset records.
  • Support delivery and collection activities across the site.
  • Assist with stocktaking, auditing and inventory management activities.
  • Process disposals and materials in accordance with established procedures.

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and is based on site at RAF Northolt.

Essential experience of the Supplier
  • Demonstrable experience working within a logistics, stores, warehouse or similar operational environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good computer literacy, including experience using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
Qualifications for the Supplier
  • Full UK driving licence.
Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
