Position: Cleaners & Caretakers - Immediate Start!!
Location: City of London

We have Temporary Porter and Cleaner opportunities for residential developments located in the City of London
As a Temporary Porter/ Cleaner, you will take ownership of the building's internal and external cleaning along with its basic maintenance, working closely with the Property Management Company to ensure an effective service is provided to all residents.
Cleaner key duties:
To clean all common areas of the building to a high standard.
Ensure fire exits are kept clean, secure and accessible.
To inspect on a daily basis, all external and internal areas of the residential buildings and report any defects, security or Health & Safety concerns.
Ensure plant room / boiler room is monitored and kept secure.
To enter all relevant comments/details in the diary, as necessary. Complete all daily, weekly and monthly checks in accordance with schedule of log provided.
Pro-actively deal with any maintenance and cleaning problems identified within the development and regularly carry out site inspections to identify any problems.
Ensure external entrance areas are kept clean and clear, particularly during inclement weather.
Ensuring appropriate levels of cleaning are achieved.
Correct reporting of any security/Health & Safety issues, incidents and complaints. Taking appropriate action in the event of an emergency.
To act in a courteous and helpful manner to all occupiers in addition to members of the public, other staff, guests, and to contractors employed on the development.
The ideal candidate will have similar cleaner experience and be physically fit, you will also have:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good understanding of Health and Safety processes

Hours:

Varied shifts (8hrs) 0hr contract

Location:

City of London, temporary roles may include South, East & West London.
Salary: £12.25 - £13.73ph
