Cleaning Supervisor

Position Details

Salary: £15.13 / hour

Hours:

8 hours / day
Shift Pattern: 06:00 am to 02:00 pm, 4 on / 2 off

Contract:

Fixed Term

• Work in a warehouse as part of the cleaning and waste team.
• Supervise and operate specific equipment, cleaning practices and chemicals in line with operational guidelines.
• Carry out daily and weekly checks of all machinery and report any faults to the Site Manager.
• Ensure Health & Safety is understood and adhered to and liaise with the Site Manager in shift operation.
• Monitor waste production using weekly checklists and monitoring procedures.
• Review and keep equipment clean, secure materials when not in use.
• Perform cleaning and ad‑hoc duties as required by the business.
• Deal with customer complaints and attend appropriate training sessions.
• Maintain awareness of statutory fire and safety regulations.

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Good customer focus and service skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload effectively and strong organisational skills.
• Work from initiative and good awareness of Health and Safety legislation.
• Communicative English skills; may be required to take an English language assessment.
• Completion of Basic Disclosure (DBS Check) and drug and alcohol screening test.
