The Cleaning Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety and overall well‑being of the UNIVERSITY environment, creating a welcoming and safe atmosphere for students, staff and visitors. Reporting directly to the Head of Housekeeping Services, the Supervisor works collaboratively within a dynamic team to deliver high‑quality, efficient services. This involves overseeing the day‑to‑day management of cleaning staff within a designated area, ensuring all duties are carried out in line with UNIVERSITY policies, procedures and service level agreements.

Supervise cleaning staff to ensure consistent delivery of services, monitor compliance with UNIVERSITY's health, safety and operational standards, respond promptly to service requests whilst maintaining flexibility to meet the needs of the University, and collaborate with other departments to enhance operational efficiency.

Friendly and approachable manner; strong supervisory skills and ability to manage a variety of routine tasks; proactive approach and ability to respond swiftly to new demands. Experience with in the Higher Education sector is an advantage.
