Job Introduction Gas Fitter

Engineering Services, part of the Repairs and Investment are seeking to recruit a Gas Fitter to complement our existing team.

You will have relevant C&G qualifications or NVQ with extensive post qualification experience.

A sound Gas related background, to include the qualifications CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA
1. (excellent practical skills and a thorough knowledge of the Gas Safety ( Installation and use ) Regulations 1998.

Must have at least 3 years experience and a minimum of 2 years remaining on current gas qualifications.

Unvented HWSS qualification preferred but not essential.

Commercial qualifications also preferred but not essential

Experienced on installation, breakdowns, and servicing of all types of Domestic Gas appliances.

Knowledge of control systems would be an advantage.

You must be able to work under your own supervision or as part of a team providing an efficient, effective and courteous service to Borough residents.

Flexible approach to working Hours.

A full clean manual driving licence is essential.
