Description What This Role Is Here To Do (Role Purpose)As a Toilet Attendant, you are a critical part of Poolhouse’s guest experience. You keep our washrooms immaculate, safe, and well-stocked at all times, while offering warm, discreet guest care. From peak-hour cleaning rounds to rapid issue response, you set the standard for hygiene, presentation, and calm professionalism, ensuring guests feel looked after from start to finish.
What Success Looks Like- Washrooms are spotless and consistently presented (checklists completed to standard every round).
- No stockouts: soap, paper, hand towels, sanitary products, and fragrance are always available.
- Issues (spills, blockages, breakages) are responded to within minutes and resolved or escalated fast.
- Positive guest feedback; complaints proactively prevented or sensitively handled.
- Health & Safety compliance at all times (COSHH, PPE, signage) with zero preventable incidents.
- Maintenance tickets raised clearly and closed promptly (e.g. leaks, hand dryers, lighting).
- Baby‑change and accessible facilities are clean, functional, and guest‑ready at all times.

Key Responsibilities- Run regular cleaning rounds (with documented checklists) to maintain immaculate standards.
- Clean, sanitise, and polish high‑touch areas (taps, flush plates, handles, dispensers, counters, mirrors).
- Restock consumables proactively: soap, paper, sanitary bins/liners, hand towels, air fresheners.
- Set up and close down to opening/closing standards; reset ambience (lighting, scent, music where applicable).
- Monitor accessibility and baby‑change areas; ensure safe, clean, and fully functional at all times.
- Respond rapidly to radio calls and guest requests; resolve or elevate issues (e.g. blockages, leaks) immediately.
- Place and remove safety signage (e.g. wet floor) appropriately; prevent slips and trip hazards.
- Raise clear maintenance tickets with photos/notes; follow up until resolved.
- Manage back‑of‑house stock: receive, rotate, and count; alert manager before reorder points.
- Support large events with increased rounds, fast resets, and coordinated cleaning windows.
- Handle lost property respectfully and according to procedure.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety standards (COSHH, PPE, manual handling, risk assessments).
- Keep the stewarding/cleaning cupboard organised, labelled, and compliant.
- Collaborate closely with FOH, Bar, and Events teams to maintain seamless guest flow and standards.
- Exceptional eye for detail and pride in presentation.
- Friendly, discreet, and guest‑focused communicator.
- Strong time management; able to prioritise during peak periods.
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety, including COSHH and PPE (training provided).
- Confident using radios and basic apps for checklists and maintenance tickets.
- Reliable team player who embodies Poolhouse values and standards.
