Project Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager, Operations Manager

Location: City of Westminster

An up-and-coming project and cost consultancy based in Westminster are searching for a motivated and passionate Project Manager to join their growing project management team and support the delivery of projects in the residential sector.

The Company that the Project Manager will join:

The Project Manager will be joining a director led construction consultancy who have 2 offices across the UK and have built a strong reputation for delivering schemes in the residential market.

The Project Manager will be joining a growing team of 20 consultants, including Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Building Surveyors and the Project Manager will be working alongside a Senior Project Manager throughout the whole lifecycle of these projects.

The Project Manager will be offering support/mentorship to junior members of the Project Management team.

The Project Manager role:

The Project Manager will bring experience of delivering the full lifecycle of projects in the residential sector which include new build, refurbishments and extensions from inception-completion and exposed to delivering schemes with contract values ranging from £5m-£25m.

You will be responsible for:

Running current/upcoming Project from inception-completion phase
Communicating effectively with internal/external parties ensuring that Projects are on track
Collaborate with the Assistant Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to resolve any challenges faced in project life cycles
Offer support towards Assistant Project Managers
Review cost regularly with cost consultants to ensure schemes are within budget
Arrange and attend client meetings
Ensure all works are compliant with safety and quality standards

Project Manager requirements:

Previous experience working for a Consultancy
Experienced delivering schemes in the residential sector
MRICS or MAPM Chartered is preferred
BSc/MSc Construction Project Management
Comfortable running projects from inception-completion
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
