Head of Sustainability (Permanent)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Sustainability to join a growing construction and development organisation on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a senior, strategic role with genuine influence, responsible for shaping and delivering a group-wide sustainability and ESG strategy during a key period of growth. You will play a pivotal role in driving sustainability, social value, and net carbon initiatives across a diverse UK-wide business, working closely with senior leadership and acting as a visible ambassador for sustainability both internally and externally.

This role is ideal for an established sustainability leader looking to take ownership of a group-wide strategy, influence at the highest level, and make a tangible impact across communities and the built environment.

• Lead and deliver the organisation's sustainability and ESG strategy
• Drive social value and net carbon initiatives across the group
• Influence senior stakeholders and support long-term strategic decision-making
• Engage with operational sites, business units, and external partners
• Represent the business on sustainability and social value matters

• Car Allowance: £5,500

• Proven experience developing and delivering sustainability and ESG strategies
• Strong stakeholder management and senior leadership influencing skills
• Passion for sustainability, social value, construction, and community engagement
• Full clean UK driving licence (essential)
• CSCS card (desirable or willingness to work towards)
