The Role

The Head of Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for driving operational strategy, execution, and performance within their geographical region. Reporting directly to the SVP of Operations, the Head of Operations leads regional operations, overseeing Senior Operations Managers and ensuring customer success, operational efficiency, and scalability across the territory. This role focuses on setting strategic direction for the region, providing governance, and aligning operational performance with broader company goals.

What

You’ll Do
  • Strategic Leadership
  • Own the operational strategy for the region, aligning local execution with global priorities.
  • Lead and manage Senior Operations Managers and their teams, ensuring project success, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
  • Define regional KPIs and performance metrics, ensuring consistent tracking, reporting, and accountability.
  • Partner with the VP of Operations to translate company-wide strategic goals into actionable regional initiatives.
  • Regional Governance & Delivery
  • Oversee all capacity and resource planning within the region, balancing customer demand with available resources.
  • Act as the ultimate point of escalation for regional operational and customer challenges, providing direction and resolution.
  • Ensure consistency of operational standards, processes, and documentation across the region, while adapting to local requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in regional operations, identifying opportunities for efficiency, automation, and best practice adoption.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Product leadership to ensure seamless regional delivery of customer solutions.
  • Represent regional operational needs in global planning discussions, ensuring alignment between local challenges and global strategy.
  • Provide executive‑level updates and insights on regional performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • People Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and inspire Senior Operations Managers and their teams, building a high‑performance culture.
  • Foster collaboration and alignment across functions and countries within the region.
  • Champion professional development and succession planning to ensure strong regional leadership pipelines.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Represent the region in strategic customer discussions, providing executive sponsorship and ensuring strong partnerships.
  • Engage with key accounts and stakeholders to understand customer needs and ensure long‑term success.
  • Travel within the region (up to 30%) for customer, team, and executive engagements.
Profile and Skills
  • Experience:

    10–12+ years in regional operations, program management, or solutions delivery, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • Leadership:
    Proven ability to lead and scale diverse, distributed teams across multiple countries within a region. Managing team performance, KPIs, ... enabling the One Team + Team Builder approach.
  • Strategic Thinking:
    Strong capability in shaping and executing operational strategy at the regional level.
