Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance to multiple engineering teams within the division, articulating clear objectives and nurturing a culture committed to excellence.
• Supervise software engineering practices through technical oversight and people-centred leadership
• Formulate and execute change management strategies that are congruent with organisational priorities and support enduring business objectives.
• Shape the technical roadmap for payments services by anticipating multifaceted challenges and discerning strategic opportunities for advancement.
• Uphold resilience standards for critical business operations by instituting protocols designed to maintain and restore essential systems efficiently.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members to foster a high-achieving environment that encourages continual learning and adaptation to emerging technologies

Key Requirements:

• Experience with in engineering roles pertinent to payments or financial services
• Extensive experience providing engineering leadership across multiple teams with demonstrable oversight of significant software development undertakings.
• Proven ability to deliver effective change management strategies that reinforce organisational objectives on a substantial scale.
• Demonstrated proficiency in devising strategic solutions that address enduring business requirements through anticipation of complex challenges.
• Comprehensive understanding of resilience imperatives for critical business functions including maintenance and recovery procedures.
• Success in cultivating high-performing team cultures through attentive mentoring, coaching, and recognition of talent.
