We are seeking an experienced consulting leader to help develop, lead and drive our Operational Excellence and Process Improvement capabilities in the Financial Services sector, specifically with Banking, Wealth and Asset Management clients.

• Play a key role in building core capabilities for Operational Excellence and Process Improvement in the FS industry.
• Ensure a continuous pipeline of operational excellence improvement opportunities to meet revenue and sales targets.
• Contribute to the development of proposals tailored to client needs and play a role in closing deals.
• Develop, lead, and oversee implementation programmes for Operational Excellence and Process Improvement.
• Lead assignments and teams, influencing senior stakeholders and navigating challenging discussions.

• Expertise in Process Improvement (Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt).
• Background in Operational Optimisation (Lean/Kaizen).
• Experience in Process redesign/governance and digitisation (Celonis, AI).
• Project & Programme Delivery knowledge (PMP, Prince2, Agile).
• Automation skills (AI, RPA).
• Operational Excellence Transformation understanding (Customer Journey, Operational Performance).
• Track record delivering operational improvement across front, middle, and back‑office service areas.
• Proven experience leading assignments and teams.
• History of realizing business benefits and outcomes.
• Experience deploying digital technologies, cost improvement, and change management.
• Demonstrated leadership in large, diverse project teams.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex discussions.
• Creative and innovative problem‑solving aptitude.
• Strong sales acumen with a record of achieving high satisfaction and repeat business.
• Excellent interpersonal and team working skills, comfortable across finance, service design, governance, capacity and workforce modelling.
• Prior consulting experience with a large consultancy or internal consultancy function (highly desirable).
• Understanding of consulting frameworks, financial principles, and industry structures.
• Capacity to develop robust business‑development plans and execute to meet revenue and sales targets.
• Strong engagement leadership – owning outcomes, motivating teams, coaching and mentoring.

Candidate demonstrates a deep understanding of the operational excellence and process improvement topics and trends affecting the FS industry, including automation & digitisation, customer journey redesign, risk management & compliance, operational risk reduction, data quality governance, core banking modernisation, operational resilience, workforce & culture transformation.
