The Facilities & Compliance Manager role at the Royal College of Psychiatrists offers a unique and exciting opportunity to blend strategic leadership and hands‑on operational facilities management. The role will support the Head of Facilities in being responsible for overseeing our London headquarters and UK offices, ensuring our sites remain safe, efficient, and aligned with the College's goals.
- Lead from the front with a hands‑on approach to Operational Facilities Management.
- Manage and develop the Facilities team, fostering high performance and continuous improvement.
- Operationally manage all facilities functions, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and outstanding service delivery.
- Manage Contractor Management & KPI performance.
- Support the Head of Facilities with Facilities projects.
- Champion & promote a Health & Safety culture.
- Manage the College Merchandise sales function.
- Work Closely with Senior colleagues to drive strategic initiatives, including sustainability programmes and events management.
- Manage budgets effectively, optimising resources and cost efficiency.
- Act as a role model for excellence, customer focus, and College values.
- Be the main on‑call Emergency contact for 21 Prescot Street.
The Facilities team has undergone significant transformation, recently integrating the Prescot Street events portfolio.
