Job Title:
Electrical Contracts Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee and manage electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of electrical contracts, including planning, execution, and monitoring of project progress.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion and delivery of milestones.
- Collaborate with clients to establish project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Prepare and present project proposals, budgets, and progress reports to stakeholders.
- Oversee procurement processes, including sourcing materials and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines throughout all projects.
- Supervise and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and resolve any issues.
- Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records for audit purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role within the electrical sector.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and contract law.
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Project Management Professional) are a plus.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
