Location: City of Westminster
As Data and Performance Manager with our high profile Housing Needs service you can make your own powerful contribution to Westminster's success. Focused on ensuring that data, insight and business intelligence drive operational performance, you'll support strategic decision making across our homelessness, rough sleeping, housing and temporary accommodation services. Providing inspirational leadership on data quality, performance management, business intelligence and statutory reporting, you'll lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of performance frameworks, ensuring your senior colleagues have timely and accurate data to inform their decision making.
Acting as the service lead on performance data , and committed to promoting a culture of evidence-based decision making, you'll lead the analysis of qualitative and quantitative information to identify trends, risks, opportunities and improvements to the services we provide. We'll also expect you to coordinate statutory, regulatory and performance returns to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, the Greater London Authority and other stakeholders, support strategic projects, service transformation programmes and change initiatives, and develop effective relationships with internal teams, commissioned providers, partner agencies and elected Members.
You'll have a range of additional responsibilities - these include leading on benchmarking, research and performance analysis to identify innovation and best practice, and promoting coordinated approaches to preventing homelessness and rough sleeping through the effective use of performance information and insights. You'll also ensure commissioned services and providers adopt robust performance management arrangements and a person-centred approach to service delivery, and lead by example by supporting the development of a high-performing, inclusive and collaborative culture.,
As team manager, you'll be responsible for supporting your team of 4 to grow their reporting skills to provide the data needed by the Housing Needs service.

To be a success in this important role you'll have proven experience of leading and developing performance, data, intelligence or business improvement functions within a large organisation, and be ready to deliver strategic and operational performance management arrangements that support our objectives. Capable of analysing complex financial and performance information, and translating your findings into actionable recommendations, you'll also have led projects and service improvement programmes within complex service environments.
