Contract: permanent
Salary: approx £70k - £80k salary, dependent on experience
Location: Hybrid working with a London base
A first-ever General Manager / Head of Operations hire for a small, ambitious agency at a pivotal growth stage. This is a genuine senior leadership role owning day-to-day operations, with a potential path to Managing Director as the business scales.
You might already be a General Manager, Operations Director, Agency Director or Head of Operations. Or you could be a strong senior leader in an agency, production company or media business, ready for the next step up. Podcast experience isn't essential - what matters is commercial sharpness, sound judgement and a genuine appetite for helping teams perform.
Core remit- Day-to-day agency operations, delivery and process
- Team leadership - recruitment, development, performance
- Commercial performance - forecasting, resourcing, profitability
- Client success and senior escalation
- Strategic input alongside the founders on future growth
- Experience leading operations within an agency, media business or similarly fast-paced creative organisation
- A track record of building and developing high-performing teams
- Strong commercial awareness and confidence with budgets, forecasts and reporting
- Excellent organisational skills and the ambition to grow into a broader leadership role as the company scales
