Regional Operations Director

As our Regional Operations Director, you'll take strategic responsibility for the development and implementation of operational strategies across Enable support services, ensuring the achievement of objectives and targets for service delivery, quality, growth and financial performance. We are recruiting for regional leadership across either the South or London. The South region covers our South East (Medway), South Central (Hampshire and Southampton) and South West (Wiltshire, Swindon, Somerset, Dorset, and Bristol) services, and our London region covers services across a number of the capital's boroughs.

This role will cover either one of these regions (when applying please specify your preference) You'll lead a team of Operations Managers, providing strong and visible leadership while ensuring services are delivered to consistently high standards. You'll oversee quality, safeguarding, staffing, budgets and operational performance, while building positive relationships with commissioners, families, care managers and other external stakeholders. This is a pivotal senior leadership role where you'll balance strategic decision-making with visible operational leadership - driving continuous improvement, supporting the development of your teams, maintaining regulatory compliance and identifying opportunities to grow and develop services across your region.

Establish and maintain a culture of excellence across all operational services, ensuring they are managed to consistently high standards and that the people we support are safe and supported to fulfil their potential. You'll ensure services operate in line with company values, policies, CQC regulations and relevant legislation. High-Performing Teams:
Lead, support and develop Operations Managers through effective supervision, coaching and mentoring. You'll ensure appropriate recruitment, induction, staffing levels, training and performance management, while developing a strong culture of collaboration, learning and professional development. Financial Performance & Growth:
Take overall financial accountability for your region, including budgetary control, P&L performance and management of key cost lines. You'll monitor staffing and agency expenditure, drive cost-effective service delivery, maintain strong occupancy and identify and implement opportunities for growth in line with the Enable Business Plan. Quality, Safeguarding & Risk:
Ensure the people we support are appropriately safeguarded and that services maintain a strong culture of safety and effective risk management. You'll oversee quality assurance, audits, complaints, placement stability, health and safety, maintenance and regulatory compliance, while driving continuous improvement and best practice. Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with commissioners, care managers, community learning disability teams, families and other external stakeholders. You'll help enhance the company's reputation, ensure effective communication and identify opportunities to develop new and existing services. Change & Business Development:
Provide effective leadership and management of change across the region as the company develops and grows. You'll support the planning, development and delivery of new services, contribute to operational decision-making and ensure strategic plans are translated into successful delivery.
