We are seeking a dynamic and commercially-minded Marketing Manager to own and drive key marketing strategies across the business. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing both our candidate acquisition strategy and our Private Practice on-demand growth strategy.

You will be an expert in translating business goals into effective marketing tactics, managing budgets, and executing integrated campaigns to attract top legal talent and generate demand from private practice clients. You will work closely with internal teams, particularly Account Managers, to ensure alignment on pipeline, lifecycle management, and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies.

Key responsibilities:
Strategy, planning & reporting
  • Build and own the annual go-to-market plans for both candidate acquisition and Private Practice OnDemand growth, complete with budgets, objectives and key results (OKRs), and forecasted outcomes.
  • Create and present management-level reports detailing campaign performance, including key metrics such as pipeline contribution, Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and influenced revenue.
Candidate acquisition

Develop, execute, and own the distinct, "always-on" evergreen acquisition strategy for our key candidate segments:

  • Lawyers
  • Paralegals
  • Company Secretaries
  • Trainees
Private Practice & ABM strategy
  • Partner closely with the Account Management team to develop and execute a targeted growth strategy for our Private Practice OnDemand solution.
  • Design and implement Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies to penetrate and expand key client accounts, ensuring full alignment between marketing and sales efforts.
Demand & lifecycle marketing
  • Lead the cross-functional execution of integrated marketing campaigns across the full funnel.
  • Own and manage demand and lifecycle marketing strategies, including acquisition and nurture programs.
  • Oversee all demand generation activities, both organic and paid (Google PPC, Linked In, Meta), managing agency relationships to ensure performance against targets.
  • Take ownership of funnel health, ensuring smooth progression from lead to MQL to SQL.
Content, PR, events & insights
  • Collaborate with the wider team to develop compelling content based on defined "pain points" and "content pillars" that resonate with our target audiences.
  • Develop and execute PR and events strategies to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Utilise market insights to inform and refine strategy, campaign planning, and content creation.
Team & agency management
  • Manage relationships with agencies and freelance partners, including negotiating scopes and ensuring adherence to brand and measurement standards.
  • Coach and mentor junior members of the marketing team, running quality reviews and enforcing process and data hygiene.
  • Proven experience in a Marketing Manager role, or as a Senior Marketing Executive ready for the next step.
  • Demonstrable experience owning a proposition or program and developing go-to-market plans.
  • A strong track record of delivering sustained commercial impact, such as year-over-year growth in pipeline or improved marketing efficiency (e.g., lower CAC).
  • Hands-on experience managing multi-channel campaigns, including organic, paid media, content, and events.
  • Commercially astute with experience managing budgets and creating management-level reports on metrics like pipeline contribution, ROAS, and CAC.
  • Experience managing external agencies and freelancers effectively.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align with sales and other departments on shared goals.
  • A strategic thinker who can show clear prioritisation and planning skills.
