Role Overview

As a Social Media & Marketing Coordinator, you can make your own powerful contribution to Westminster's success. Working within Registration Services, you will help strengthen the national reputation of Westminster Registration Services – and The Old Marylebone Town Hall in particular – ensuring our brand stands out as one of the most iconic ceremony destinations in the country.

You will lead on delivering the social media strategy for Registration and Ceremony Services, taking ownership of content creation, research and day‑to‑day engagement across platforms. From defining KPIs to analysing social media and web performance, you will use data‑driven insight to optimise ROI and continually refine how we connect with couples.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver the social media strategy for Registration and Ceremony Services; own content creation, research, and day‑to‑day engagement across platforms.
  • Define KPIs and analyse social media and web performance; use data‑driven insights to optimise ROI and continually refine our connection with couples.
  • Refresh and maintain brand tone and aesthetic across multimedia channels; set and enforce clear brand standards across all services.
  • Support the development of Event and Commercial packages – shape pricing strategies, negotiate terms, and maximise revenue from venue hire and ceremony offerings.
  • Build and secure strategic partnerships with influencers, ceremony planners, suppliers, and media organisations; strengthen reputation, enhance revenue, and improve service delivery.
  • Support the Business Development Manager in redeveloping A Day To Remember Magazine – refine strategy, build relationships with advertisers, generate original editorial content, and help coordinate its production from concept to publication.
  • Work in a commercial and partnership‑focused environment; negotiate agreements within delegated authority, collaborate with external venues and stakeholders, and advance event commercialisation.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven background in social media and digital marketing, with experience leading strategy, content creation, and performance analysis.
  • Comfortable interpreting social media and web analytics to maximise KPIs and ROI.
  • Creative vision to maintain strong brand consistency across all channels.
  • Curiosity and forward‑thinking mindset; constantly seeking new ideas, fresh approaches, and opportunities.
  • Commercial awareness and analytical mindset; able to balance creativity with commercial objectives, challenge thinking, and advocate for best outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to network, and genuine passion for celebrating diversity.
  • Experience in a heritage, ceremony, or wedding setting is beneficial.
  • Comfortable in a front‑line role; able to build meaningful relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers; communicates with confidence and warmth.
