Company introduction

Kernel Global is a multi-brand, multi-niche recruitment group of ambitious, and award-winning, brands. Each combines commerciality, ambition, and the ability to bring change-makers to the recruitment world. Our brands are located in five cities across three continents, each with a specialist focus area:
Catalyst Partners is redefining the HR and People recruitment experience;
Dartmouth Partners has been recruiting excellence from Classroom to Boardroom for more than ten years; and Pure Search is the industry expert in governance and corporate markets. This year we are launching our fourth recruitment business in the Group, focusing on Energy and Power.

The role of Events Manager is a new and key part to the Kernel Marketing team. It is a role that will be wholly owned and shaped by an ambitious and curious individual who can see the long-term opportunity of building this focus area for the Group. Kernel is at an exciting moment having just launched a new challenger recruitment brand and our global teams amping up all of their outreach activity.

You will also lead the creation of a formal events process for the Group, build and maintain a global venue and supplier log, and implement structured feedback and ROI tracking to continuously improve our approach. Working closely with the wider business, you’ll ensure each event supports our growth objectives and reinforces the strength of our brand portfolio.

  • Coordinate event logistics including production, suppliers, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication.
  • Build and implement a formal events process to standardise planning, approvals, delivery, post event reviews, feedback and ROI tracking, producing insights and recommendations to improve effectiveness.
  • Introducing tools or templates to support standardising and creating efficiency of global events.
  • Create and maintain a global venue and supplier database, including suitability, pricing, contracts, and performance reviews.
  • Source suitable third-party sponsors for brand events.
  • Build strong relationships across Kernel’s global brands and teams, communicating confidently and clearly with internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Supporting with internal Kernel-focused globally located events as and when required.
