Position: Social Media Executive (3 month FTC)

About You

You’re passionate about social media and understand the value it can bring to a brand in terms of storytelling and generating leads. You’re innovative and able to think on your feet while working to timelines and managing stakeholder expectations. You have experience managing external agencies and holding them accountable for their performance. You stay up‑to‑date on social media trends, knowing what type of content performs best on which channels, and what platform algorithms are looking for to accelerate growth.

You’re a content creator at heart, love being part of a team, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and are comfortable pivoting between different business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute Knight Frank’s social media strategy for core channels (Instagram, Facebook, Linked In, and You Tube), emphasizing channel reach, engagement, and follower growth.
  • Assist with social media governance, accountability and training for Knight Frank’s core social channels.
  • Manage the UK content calendar, planning, creating, scheduling and publishing high‑quality content for all UK divisions.
  • Keep Knight Frank culturally relevant with ongoing trend and innovation monitoring.
  • Liaise with UK service line members, ensuring alignment with wider marketing, PR, brand and business objectives, and that all creative is on brand.
  • Monitor growth and leads generated from social media and own KPI reporting.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all day‑to‑day social media queries, training and best‑practice support for UK offices and teams.
  • Collaborate with content, PR and marketing teams to advise on social media opportunities and support paid media strategy with recommendations or content creation.
  • Manage relationships with third‑party agencies and suppliers (e.g., community management, videographers, editors).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to feature their wins, critical news or brand initiatives on appropriate platforms.
  • Participate in all aspects of content creation: planning calls, writing creative briefs, coordinating shoots, scripting, storyboarding, aligning social and PR objectives, managing messaging and delivery.
  • Uphold Knight Frank’s social governance and security by flagging unauthorised or fake accounts and reporting breaches of the Global Social Media Policy.
Professional Experience and Personal Skills
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a social media role with a proven track record of scaling account growth (broader digital marketing experience is a bonus).
  • Experience using Meta and Linked In Manager platforms, with strong reporting and governance; experience with You Tube is a bonus.
  • Strong understanding and experience with social media reporting and publishing tools.
  • Social media advocate who can communicate its power and purpose to stakeholders and the wider business; process‑driven, highly creative and able to create engaging, relevant content.
  • Excellent communicator able to work alongside senior stakeholders, third‑party agencies and internal marketing teams.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills; able to prioritise workload in line with business needs and meet deadlines.
  • Skilled in Canva; filming and video editing experience is a bonus.
  • Experience with  is a bonus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and self‑motivated, with a “can‑do” attitude who enjoys being part of a team.
