Digital Content Manager - Black Equity Organisation

Full‑time permanent contract

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 Annually

We are looking for an ambitious, experienced and talented Digital Content Manager to oversee BEO’s website and digital communications channels. This role will be responsible for creating and/or managing the creation of all the digital content on BEO’s website and social media channels.

You will have a strong track record of managing the creation of infographics and film content to communicate complex concepts in simple ways, and ensuring our digital content is aligned and integrated. You will lead on developing and implementing BEO’s digital communications strategy and take lead responsibility for BEO’s website – ensuring it is kept fully up to date and optimised to drive traffic to the site.

You will be a strong communicator, both orally and with excellent report writing skills. You will have previously monitored the performance of an organisation’s digital channels and website, and used research to analyse digital communications trends to identify new opportunities for engagement. Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure are also essential. Experience of working in the voluntary sector or in a social change role would be an advantage but is not essential.

You will be part of the growing Communications Team, which comprises BEO’s press office, digital communications, social media and campaigns functions.
