About Sedex

Sedex is a trusted partner for over 100,000 businesses worldwide, helping them create socially and environmentally sustainable supply chains. Through our platform's powerful data insights and expert guidance, we simplify the management, assessment, and reporting of sustainability performance.

Our Vision is to be a leader in making global supply chains more socially and environmentally sustainable. Our Mission is to provide data-driven insights, accessible tools, and exceptional services that support businesses in improving environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance and outcomes.

The role

We are seeking a Solution Marketing Manager – Supplier Growth to join our dynamic Marketing department. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping how Sedex speaks to and supports its supplier members — the factories and sites that make up the majority of our membership, many of whom join because a customer asked them to.

Today, most of our marketing is aimed at the buyers who require audits. Suppliers, meanwhile, often don't see the full value of membership beyond the audit request itself. Your job is to change that: to clearly explain what a supplier gets when they join Sedex — one audit that can be shared across every customer relationship instead of repeated separately, structured support to fix any issues an audit finds, and visibility to new potential customers looking for verified, responsible suppliers.

You’ll own the supplier-facing messaging and content strategy end to end, and work closely with Product and Customer Success to make sure what we build, and what we say, genuinely reflects what suppliers need.

Key Responsibilities

As a Solution Marketing Manager – Supplier Growth, you will:

Define Supplier Positioning & Messaging:

  • Build and maintain clear, simple messaging that explains what supplier membership delivers — audit sharing, structured improvement support, and visibility to new customers.
  • Recognise that suppliers aren't all the same: tailor messaging for single-site factories, multi-site enterprises, and growth-focused SMEs, each with different needs and concerns.
  • Track how Sedex compares with other audit and certification schemes, and maintain a clear, honest answer to ‘why Sedex.’

Market & Supplier Insights:

  • Run a regular programme of supplier interviews, surveys and renewal/churn analysis to keep messaging grounded in what suppliers actually think and feel.
  • Translate new supply chain regulations (in the EU, Germany, the US and the UK) into plain language, showing suppliers how being prepared can become a competitive advantage.

Create Impactful Marketing Collateral:

  • Produce supplier-facing content: webinars, blogs, checklists, guides, case studies, onboarding emails and renewal communications — in plain English, with translations coordinated for key regions.
  • Lead supplier communications for product launches, feature releases and audit methodology updates.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work with Product to help shape features that matter most to suppliers, such as audit-sharing controls, benchmarking tools and self-assessment questionnaires.
  • Partner with Customer Success to build a regular feedback loop from the team that speaks to suppliers every day.
  • Partner with Demand Generation, providing the audience segments, messages and offers they use to run campaigns.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  • Track and report monthly on supplier engagement with content and messaging, and its impact on renewals.
  • Use insights to continuously refine positioning, content and enablement materials.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience (at least 3 yrs) in product or solution marketing for a B2B SaaS company
  • Experience explaining products that become more valuable as more people use them, such as a supplier network, benchmarking community, or marketplace.
  • A portfolio of shipped marketing content: at least one case study, one messaging framework, and one email sequence.
  • Experience marketing to non-Western, small-business or multilingual audiences — our suppliers are mostly based in Asia, Latin America and Africa.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to turn customer…
