PR Executive

We are seeking a bold, creative PR executive with a passion for storytelling and a keen sense for news. This role is perfect for someone who can lead smart media strategies, craft compelling stories, and build strong relationships to elevate our clients' presence.
Day-to-day duties of the role:
Media Strategy & Coverage:
- Devise strategic media plans with creative hooks and strong digital alignment.
- Generate unique story angles that drive trade, regional, and national press coverage.
- Proactively pitch stories and build relationships with journalists, editors, and broadcasters.
- Identify and act on reactive media opportunities across sectors.
Campaign Delivery:
- Own day-to-day campaign execution from media list building to coverage tracking.
- Write press releases, case studies, and by-lined content tailored to different media and audiences.
- Distribute press releases and PR materials using our network and media database tools.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure content aligns with SEO and social media strategies.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations.
Client Management & Growth:
- Act as a trusted lead for client accounts, delivering high-quality service and strategic input.
- Contribute to new business proposals and attend pitch meetings.
- Build partnerships with industry associations, influencers, and brand allies to extend reach.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience in a fast-paced PR agency or in-house communications role.
- Excellent writing skills for press releases, feature articles, and digital content.
- Strong media relations experience and proven track record of securing top-tier coverage.
- Confident communicator who can manage client expectations and present campaign results.
- Solid understanding of social media platforms, especially Linked In and Meta.
- Comfortable collaborating with digital, content, and SEO teams.
