We’re looking for an innovative, performance-driven Lead Creative to help shape our growing Creative Studio.

About the Role

This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Creative, Designer or Creative Strategist ready for greater ownership. You’ll lead creative strategy, quality and innovation, combining strategic thinking with hands-on creative work to deliver high-quality, performance-focused work aligned with client goals.

You’ll work closely with internal teams, clients and freelance creatives to help build a high-performing and scalable Creative Studio. The role is approximately 70% creative leadership and strategy, and 30% creative production, depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the creative vision, strategy and quality across client accounts.
  • Develop creative strategies for Paid Media campaigns, using performance data and audience insights to drive recommendations.
  • Review, critique and approve creative work to ensure it meets quality, brand and performance standards.
  • Lead creative testing and optimisation to improve campaign performance.
  • Direct and manage freelance creative partners, providing clear briefs, feedback and creative direction.
  • Act as a key strategic and creative contact for clients, presenting concepts, strategies and recommendations.
  • Lead creative workshops, ideation sessions and strategic discussions.
  • Develop creative concepts from initial insight through to execution.
  • Contribute to creative production and design when required.
  • Drive innovation through AI and emerging creative technologies.
  • Develop scalable creative systems, templates, asset libraries and workflows.
  • Stay up to date with creative trends, platform developments and best practices.
  • Support pitches, proposals and wider business growth opportunities.
  • Work with the wider team to improve creative processes, efficiency and client outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience, or equivalent senior-level expertise, in a creative, performance marketing or digital agency, including experience in a senior creative role. Experience developing and leading creative strategy across Paid Media campaigns, including Meta, Google and other performance channels.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, creative testing and conversion-focused creative.
  • Strong understanding of ASO, mobile growth and the relationship between creative and app performance.
  • Ability to turn performance data, audience insights and campaign learnings into creative recommendations.
  • Experience presenting creative strategies and concepts to clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience managing freelancers and external creative partners.
  • Strong visual design skills and the ability to create high-quality Paid Media and ASO assets when required.
  • Experience developing creative concepts from insight through to execution.
  • Experience building creative systems, templates and production workflows.
  • Highly proficient in Figma, including collaborative design workflows.
  • Strong understanding of AI-powered creative tools and an interest in using technology to improve creative quality and efficiency.
  • Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
