Business Development and Marketing Manager

I'm currently working with an international law firm who is hiring for a talented Marketing & Business Development Manager to support its highly regarded Structured Finance & Derivatives practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team and work closely with senior partners on strategic growth initiatives across a market-leading practice.

Reporting into the senior BD leadership team, you will play a key role in driving business development and marketing activity across the practice, including:

• Developing and delivering BD and marketing plans aligned to strategic objectives
• Partnering with lawyers and partners to identify and pursue growth opportunities
• Leading on pitches, proposals and panel appointments
• Supporting key client relationship and account management initiatives
• Delivering profile-raising campaigns, thought leadership and events
• Identifying market trends, opportunities and competitor activity
• Working collaboratively with international colleagues on cross-border initiatives

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong business development and marketing experience within legal or professional services
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Experience managing pitches and client development programmes
• A commercial and strategic mindset, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
