Cardiology Research Nurse

We are looking for a dynamic & motivated nurse to work in the busy Cardiology Research Department, to run a variety of clinical trials in accordance with good clinical practice guidelines.

This is a one‑year fixed‑term contract with the possibility of extension.

• Take a leading role in running a portfolio of cardiology research.
• Initiate and manage different projects within the department.
• Ensure compliance with good clinical practice guidelines and NHS regulations.
• Co‑operate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate trial activities.
• Contribute to research dissemination and internal reporting.

• Registered Nurse with significant post‑registration experience.
• Strong background in cardiology.
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer literate with strong IT time‑management abilities.
• Experience of formal and informal teaching and clinical research is advantageous.
