Location: City of Westminster

Fortius Clinic are hiring a Nurse to join their Pre-Assessment team in their Outpatients department.

Full-time permanent contract

Hospital based in Marylebone, London

37.5 hours per week

Shifts are 8-12 hours long

Monday - Friday work only

£40,000 + benefits!

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (NMC).
  • A minimum of 2 years post‑registration experience.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Relevant pre‑assessment experience.
  • IT literate, experience of using EPR systems.
  • Basic understanding of patient care issues in Orthopaedic Outpatients.
  • Able to triage results and reports and escape as required.
  • To understand how to gather patients past medical history.
  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge of NMC professional code of conduct and its application.
  • Understanding of fundamentals of nursing care and ability to deliver a high standard of individualised care.
  • Up to date clinical skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and some experience of managing a small team.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and manage own workload.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with all clinical and non‑clinical staff, patients and relatives.
