Bank ITU Nurses​/Critical Care

You will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to work using your own initiative as well as working effectively within a team.

• Assess individual patient needs, plan to meet them and implement and evaluate care.
• Adapt work to meet the specific needs of patients and their relatives.
• Act as a 'named nurse' for a group of patients within the nursing team, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating their care needs.
• Coordinate ward area and provide direction to junior staff, without requiring direct supervision.

• Paid critical care experience at Band 5 or Band 6 level within the HDU and ICU environment.
• Banding based on experience and completion of a post-graduation critical care course.
• Willingness to learn, ability to work under pressure, strong team collaboration skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to prioritise your own workload.
