About the Team and the Role

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our renowned Cancer Nursing Team at Private Care at Guys, a state‑of‑the‑art private cancer centre rated Outstanding by the CQC. You will contribute to a leading private cancer service that combines advanced chemotherapy, radiotherapy, specialist inpatient wards, modern theatres and a dedicated intensive care unit supporting complex cancer pathways.

The centre offers pioneering treatments including bispecific cancer therapies, Tumour‑Infiltrating Lymphocyte (TIL) therapy, robotic‑assisted cancer surgery and stem cell transplantation within our JACIE‑accredited programme. Based on our 20‑bedded Haematology and Oncology inpatient ward, you will care for patients with a wide range of cancer and blood disorders throughout their treatment journey.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care to patients with a range of cancer and blood disorders.

  • Administer prescribed treatments and medications, monitor patient progress and recognise and respond to changing clinical conditions.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  • Develop specialist knowledge in oncology, haematology and stem cell transplantation while adhering to evidence‑based practice and organisational policies.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, contribute to patient discharge planning and participate in quality improvement, audit and governance activities.
  • Support junior colleagues and students, engaging in ongoing professional development and contributing to a positive team culture focused on delivering outstanding patient care and continually improving outcomes.
