GP World have an amazing new nursing opportunity as an Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner located in South West London within a private medical clinic. This service offers a wide range of locum work in an incredibly diverse patient population who present with a variety of medical and social needs, delivering innovative and sustainable care for all.
The ANP/ACP needs to work independently, ordering and interpreting investigations including blood tests and X-rays, prescribing medications where appropriate, and providing evidence-based treatment plans
Shift Patterns: 0900
-1700 with some evening work a couple days a week, with 1-2 days On Call
Days: Offer Up to 7 days a week
Rates: £55 - £60 per hour

Requirements:
- Full registration with the NMC or HCPC registration
- Nursing Diploma or equivalent (PGCert, PGDip or Master's Level) In Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
- Independent Prescriber (V300)
- Clinical Examination and Diagnostics Level
7. Excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic and prescribing skills. - Extensive experience managing both minor illnesses and minor injuries
- Confident in requesting and interpreting X-rays and laboratory investigations.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working within and Urgent Care Centre, Minor Injuries Unit or A&E Department
Skills:
Request, interpret and act upon investigations including X-rays and laboratory results. Autonomously be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating and discharging patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries. To discharge patients independently, without reference to a medical clinician, where this falls within agreed clinical governance.
Manage an autonomous caseload of patients presenting with urgent care needs, including both adults and children limits.
Make appropriate referrals to secondary care or specialist services when required. Independently prescribe medications within scope of practice
