Dermatology Outpatient Nurse - Buckinghamshire

18 Week Support Limited is offering 12-week weekend in sourcing cover for NHS Trusts, with dermatology outpatient clinics across Buckinghamshire as the setting. The role centres on preparing clinics and treatment rooms, assisting consultants during consultations and procedures, taking patient observations and keeping clinical records. Shifts run Saturdays and Sundays from 08:00 to 18:00, and candidates must currently work in an NHS dermatology service.

Current NMC registration and recent hands‑on dermatology outpatient experience are required.

• Preparing and setting up clinics, treatment rooms, equipment, instruments and procedure trolleys, and ensuring necessary equipment is available
• Assisting consultants and clinicians during patient consultations and procedures
• Conducting patient observations and assessments where appropriate
• Supporting the safe and efficient delivery of patient care
• Providing patient education and treatment advice where appropriate
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensuring clinics run safely and efficiently in line with clinical standards and patient safety requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification

• Current NMC registration with no restrictions to practise

• Currently working within an NHS dermatology service, with supervision and leadership
• Recent hands‑on experience supporting patients in dermatology outpatient clinics
• At least 6 months of this work within the past 12 months
• Proven experience in an NHS dermatology outpatient setting
• Proven experience in an NHS dermatology surgical setting

• Excellent patient assessment, communication and organisational skills
