Operating Room Nurse Provide exceptional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced operating room by collaborating closely with surgeons and the surgical team to support safe and successful procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare the operating room and ensure readiness before surgical procedures.
- Assist during surgeries by supporting aseptic technique and proper instrument handling.
- Monitor patients’ condition and respond promptly to changes during procedures.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary staff to support effective teamwork.
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and quality standards.
- Provide perioperative nursing care and contribute to a safe surgical environment.
- Registered nursing licensure and strong perioperative knowledge.
- Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient safety focus.
- Strong teamwork and attention to detail, especially in sterile/safety practices.
