Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in Sandwich, Kent. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated QA professional to be part of a rapidly growing organisation that values ownership, decision‑making influence, and meaningful contributions. Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain and continually improve the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Review and approve batch manufacturing documentation prior to batch release to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage Deviations, CAPAs, Change Controls, Complaints, and OOS investigations to uphold quality standards.
  • Support internal and supplier audits, as well as customer and regulatory audits, to facilitate continuous improvement and compliance.
  • Ensure all quality processes are followed diligently and foster a culture of quality awareness across teams.
Role Requirements
  • A Degree or higher level in a scientific discipline (e.g., Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Quality Assurance / Quality Management).
  • Proven industry experience in GMP Quality Assurance within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • A working knowledge and practical experience with QMS, CAPAs, Deviations, and Change Controls.
