A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced SHEQ Advisor to join a market‑leading business at their site. This role allows you to manage and implement the site’s Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) management systems, ensuring legal compliance, driving continuous improvement, reducing risk, and promoting a positive safety culture across the site.

Core ResponsibilitiesYou will play a key role in managing and implementing the site’s Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) management systems and be responsible for ensuring legal compliance, driving continuous improvement, reducing risk and promoting a positive safety culture across the site.
Required Experience and Skills- Minimum five years in a Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality role.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, recycling or processing environments.
- Knowledge of Environmental Law, Building Regulations and relevant Health & Safety legislation.
- Conducted audits, investigations and implemented corrective actions.
- Managed and maintained ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Carries out risk assessments, workplace inspections and compliance audits.
- Leads accident and incident investigations using root cause analysis.
- Supports safe systems of work, COSHH assessments and permit management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience with RI&E and Management of Change (MOC).
- Previous experience in the waste management, recycling or environmental sector.
- NEBOSH qualification or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
- Market‑leading organisation.
