About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Operative to play a role in supporting food safety, quality, and compliance within our production kitchens. As a Quality Assurance Operative, you will play a key role in supporting food safety and quality management processes as our production kitchens adopt manufacturing-level standards to become future‑fit. Working closely with operational teams and chefs, you will help ensure that all food produced meets required safety, legal and quality standards through robust checks, controls and inspections.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating the label room, issuing and checking retail and food‑to‑order labels
- Carrying out food safety inspections, including due diligence paperwork, labelling, traceability and raw material stock checks
- Completing routine assurance checks such as temperature monitoring and tray wash chemical concentration testing
- Supporting customer complaint investigations with accurate quality and safety information
- Managing calibrations for temperature probes and weighing scales
This position is onsite in Knightsbridge.
About YouYou will be detail driven, organised and confident working in a fast‑paced food production environment where accuracy and compliance are critical. You will bring a proactive, quality‑focused mindset and be comfortable building strong working relationships with chefs and operational teams. You will manage your time effectively, adapt quickly to changing priorities and work with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards at all times.
Above all, you will demonstrate a strong work ethic and a genuine commitment to doing things the right way.
- Previous food safety experience at QA or QC level within food manufacturing or food service
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Flexibility and a willingness to adapt in a changing operational environment
