Location: City of Westminster
We are seeking a project manager to join the department of neuroimaging based at the Centre of Neuroimaging Sciences at King's College London, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neurosciences. The successful candidate will manage a large-scale imaging study (iMarkHD) and oversee day‑to‑day operations, working with clinical fellows, principal investigator, part‑time project manager, and research assistants.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage day‑to‑day running of the iMarkHD study.
- Support clinical fellows and the principal investigator.
- Direct line management of part‑time project manager and research assistants.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements pertaining to clinical research.
- Previous experience in clinical research in a coordinating and/or managerial position.
- Understanding of and experience with regulatory requirements for clinical research.
- Experience in clinical study oversight.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working effectively within clinical and academic research organisations.
- Experience of line management and managing a team within a research setting.
- Evidence of continuous personal, professional and academic development.
- Previous experience in neuroscience research.
- Strong motivation to work within the field of neuroscience.
- Recent GCP training.
- Knowledge and experience of handling complex relationships.
- Report writing and presentation skills.
- Full‑time (35 hours per week).
- Fixed‑term contract starting August 2026, ending 12 months later.
