Position: iMarkHD Study Project Manager (Maternity Cover)
Location: City of Westminster

We are seeking a project manager to join the department of neuroimaging based at the Centre of Neuroimaging Sciences at King's College London, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neurosciences. The successful candidate will manage a large-scale imaging study (iMarkHD) and oversee day‑to‑day operations, working with clinical fellows, principal investigator, part‑time project manager, and research assistants.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage day‑to‑day running of the iMarkHD study.
  • Support clinical fellows and the principal investigator.
  • Direct line management of part‑time project manager and research assistants.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements pertaining to clinical research.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in clinical research in a coordinating and/or managerial position.
  • Understanding of and experience with regulatory requirements for clinical research.
  • Experience in clinical study oversight.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working effectively within clinical and academic research organisations.
  • Experience of line management and managing a team within a research setting.
  • Evidence of continuous personal, professional and academic development.
Desirable Criteria
  • Previous experience in neuroscience research.
  • Strong motivation to work within the field of neuroscience.
  • Recent GCP training.
  • Knowledge and experience of handling complex relationships.
  • Report writing and presentation skills.
Benefits & Conditions
  • Full‑time (35 hours per week).
  • Fixed‑term contract starting August 2026, ending 12 months later.
