DEPUTY MANAGER – THE INDIA COLLECTION Background

The India Collection is part of MW Eat, a financially strong, highly regarded, well‑managed London restaurant company specialising in Indian cuisines. It comprises three fine dining restaurants – Amaya, Chutney Mary, and Veeraswamy – which are acclaimed as among the best of their type. Two of the restaurants hold a Michelin Star.

You will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in delivering a consistently outstanding customer service experience in a high‑quality restaurant environment. Key aspects of the role include:

• Leading service from the front through a high level of personal engagement with and recognition of our customers.
• Meticulous detail to service standards and ensuring staff are cheerful, welcoming, attentive and efficient in looking after our customers.
• Supporting the Restaurant Manager in training and development of the restaurant team.

• At least 2 years’ experience as Deputy Manager in a successful high‑quality restaurant.
• Experience in a London environment helpful.
• Experience working within a multi‑cultural environment.
• A deep interest in Asian cuisines and a liking for spice.

• Remuneration circa £50,000 – £55,000 dependent on experience.
